I believe that the Middle School transition from elementary to higher-level mathematics is the perfect time to instill a lifelong love of math and learning in naturally curious minds.  I use a blend of cooperative learning, technology-enhanced projects, hands-on manipulation, concrete skill acquisition, and mathematical communication; with a focus on higher-level thinking skills and real-world applications.
